Well, Rick and others, I did think. :-) And my small drum for the toaster oven is rectangular. I made it that way to eliminate the need for lifters in such a small size, 3x3x6 inches. No problem with broken beans due to the small size and 3 rpm rotation. I never made many roasts with it, my popper results are excellent and getting better all the time. IMO, roasting in a drum is like taking two steps backward. There is such an advantage with hot air roasters in both profile control and cooling. -- ---------- <Snip> <Snip> |
