LOL about the Haldol dog --- I have one of those, too.
I have the same problem when I spill roasted beans, fortunately rarely, 
and can't get them up fast enough. I would think they would be too 
bitter for the dogs, but no.
The tiniest [12 lbs] and youngest dog, Dr. Robert, is part of the 
Starbucks generation, I am afraid; he will only drink lattes with barely 
any coffee in them and doubtless would love me to add eggnog etc. to my 
coffee....
