Ah the dilemma, What do I roast? My order arrived. Bugisu is no longer in short supply. The Aussie is here and so is the Kenya TEGU Peaberry. Me thinks I need a few more dog bowl roasts under my belt before taking on a peaberry with that method, so the AMTE wins out! I sure would like to hear some more reports on this coffee. Les |
This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Sounds like a nice order. I should receive my SM5K tomorrow and a greens = order from SM the next day. no so patiently waiting on Big Brown RK |
Gee Les, what did you have to wait - three whole days? You folks are so spoiled. I think I could get them as quickly from Austrailia as I can from Tom. I still have four more full days to wait for my order placed last Wednesday. The good news is that its so long between order and arrival that I tend to forget they are coming and its a nice surprise when they do. I wouldn't want to leave anyone with the image that service is slow to Deep Southern Texas, but I'm going to start putting harvest dates on my cupping comments. You'll be drinking a current crop while I'm cupping the previous crop. On Monday 12 July 2004 06:56 pm, Lesley Albjerg wrote: <Snip> -- ~John~ Loving Life in the Slow Lane |
John I think they UPS must hold your order until they get several going your way. I get orders to SC in 7 days as a rule depending on when I order it If I order on the week end it is longer. RK |
you guys can get next day air from UPS anywhere in the world... just may cost more than your coffee though! ginny At 05:15 PM 7/12/2004, you wrote: <Snip> |
Wierd, I got Ron's posted response to John, but not John's direct yet! Wandering John, don't get green as a coffee bean with envy, but if I order early A.M. and SM isn't too busy and it isn't the weekend, I get my greens the next day. Roseburg has a large UPS facility that feeds out into S. Oregon. Les "R.N.Kyle" wrote: John I think they UPS must hold your order until they get several going your way. Why do you guys think the attachment of the gaggia handle is so strange, seems to me to be typical Italian design, usually ahead of the pack... ginny At 07:15 PM 7/12/2004, you wrote: <Snip> |

After eight days of transit Brown finally arrived. This morning I'm enjoying a cup of Uganda AA Bigisu '04. WOW! This is incredible! I taste the black cherry Tom describes... Now, to go outside and roast some Ethiopian for Monday. Gregg |
