Back when I first got on this list (I think it was early 99) Tom did 
something like that.
Although I did not participate, I was too new at the time, I remember 
enjoying reading
about it.
IIRC It went something like this.  Once a week Tom sent out unlabeled 
greens with
recommended roast levels.  Everyone would cup them and compare notes 
then Tom
would post his cupping along with the origin information.
I believe this was done with 5 samples.  This was supposed to be a 
regular thing but
to my knowledge it was never repeated.
