Topic: Descent Espresso (and Olympia) (2 msgs / 23 lines)
1) From: Andrew Thomas
I guess I started this thread last week (originally "no subject"). It must have hit a nerve with a lot of people. (I almost corrected the spelling of the new subject line -- but maybe it was intended as a pun?) Anyway, I've enjoyed catching up on all the responses after a long-weekend trip. I'm also the one who asked for coffee recommendations in Olympia WA, so here's my report: The local roastery is Batdorf and Bronson, and they are very good! They roast several times a week and don't sell any coffee that is more than five days past roast date. The coffee they served in the cafe was fresh and expertly roasted and brewed, both espresso and regular coffee. I wish I could have visited their roastery-cupping room (which is open to the public) but I didn't have time. So...there's one to file in your memory in case you ever go to Olympia.

Glad to hear you enjoyed them, which blends did you try? As I stated before
Sky Mountain Blend is one of my favorites.......Jerry
