I'm glad to hear your opinion.
Undoubtedly, the $5 price was right.  I think I had read on
the coffeekid's site in the vacpot section that the rubberless are
difficult for beginners to use, and I still qualify as that for vacuum
brewing.  But, practice should cure any beginner blues if technique
is the key.

To enhance the vacuum be certain to wet (like with your finger) both upper 
and lower frosted surfaces; this also removes any particles that would 
break the seal. I love my gasketless Cory! Soooo easy to keep clean.
BTW if you find it's not to your liking, I'll be happy to pay twice what 
you did to take it off your hands!
