The water has been down so much that if you're there really early
you will have some good fishing.
I've had some good luck the past few years in SW and South Central CO.
I've never had the kind of luck before or since on the Pine River, outside
Durango.
Two nights in a row I caught and released over 30 12" + Brookies, fishing
small
3 and 4' diameter pools in a boulder patch...soooo very fun.....
Monster (#6) Muddler Minnows....

You're making me jealous Bob. Do you fish for any of them big Texas
bucketmouths with a fly rod? I suppose opening a coffee shop will
cut into your fishing time. Even so, I'm sure it will be worth it.
It sounds like you've got a great location.

Phil,
No I haven't yet but when I lived on the Oregon coast
a buddy of mine bass fished at night with a 10' Noodle Fly rod
with small popper flys that drove the fish nuts.
I did do some night salt water fishing off the jetty which was a hoot
too, caught a 3' Ling Cod on a steelhead setup with 8 lb test.
I never got a chance to go as I was into steelhead and salmon
back then. (still am)
But my neighbor across the street is good ol boy fisherman
and he promised to take me out.
