Beware, too, as a modded Poppery I will roast a lot of coffee quickly. In my opinion, it's too fast. I've got two Mk. I's, and one roasts to full city + in about 6 to 7 minutes flat. The other takes almost 10 to do the same. The faster unit has had a LOT of popcorn use, so maybe the motor isn't producing the full airflow, leading to a hotter airflow stream and a faster roast. I need to do a bit of back to back at the same ambient, as I've only used the slower unit at cooler (60 deg. F) temps.
A modded PII is likewise quite fast at any temp. over 65. It just doesn't roast as much (1/2 c. vs. 3/4 c.).
