Topic: Cuban coffee - Episode 3 !!!! (17 lines)
1) From: Michael Bamber
Many thanks to all who replied to my request for information. To Tom and
Maria..... I did mean coffee grown in Cuba, as opposed to method of
preparation - apologies for not making this clear. To Tom
Ulmer.....Proctor and Gamble, eh !! Now why am I not surprised ??
I agree that it is very much a part of the coffee home- roaster's nature
to try all that is available, then separate 'wheat from chaff'.....Kopi
Luwak, for instance, retails in England for £32($50) for 250 grams !
That's roughly $100 a pound for Civet-crap robusta ! I'm guessing that
the Indonesian poop-sifters don't see much of those profits. Thanks
again to all concerned, Michael
