Thanks all for the lively discussion on JBM, Kona, CR...etc. As a result I've just placed an order for a couple # Costa Rican La Minita Tarrazu. Of course, I also had to order a couple # of Hawaii Kona -Kowali Blue Mountain '01(described as from 100% JBM seedstock. Fasinating.) (It'll be my 7th Kona green in stock...who me, obsessive?) It'll be fun doing a 3 way cupping with CR La Minita, JBM & Kona Kowali Blue! If I can't spend my money on Great Coffees, what's the point! By the way, is a BMW better than a Mercedes, no a Porche', no a Ferrari? Glenn, very well said. And, I raise my cup of Lerida to you, too. If we were we would not be <Snip> no <Snip> all, <Snip> SM's <Snip> spend to <Snip> Uh oh, I feel a group hug coming on. :-) I started this hobby to save money, but, um, it hasn't worked out that way. Nevertheless, this is a great hobby and a good bunch of people from very diverse backgrounds. Not all of this can afford BMW's, but we can afford some of the best coffee in the world from Tom and Maria. Green coffee beans are relatively cheap compared to many luxuries; it's summertime, and life is good.
