Hi Folks,
It's time for another Atlanta Area Gathering.  Once more David 
LaMont, manager of The Coffee Lodge, has generously offered his shop 
as a gathering place.  The starting time will be 5pm, when they close 
the doors to the public.  We will again have espresso lessons from 
David and other experienced baristas.
There will also be some form of Homeroasting 101.   In the past we 
have had demonstrations of a HotTop, and my Heatgun/Dogbowl with a 
breadmachine mod.  Who knows, maybe we'll see a lowly popper, 
possibly accompanied by a variac.  Ya never know.  Only the finest 
beans will touch these roasters!
And, the activities wouldn't be complete without a demo of the new 
Aeropress.  (And the apple-shaped Zass that was *not* given away, "My 
preciousss."  He-heh.)
The Coffee Lodge is located on the north edge of north Atlanta, about 
a 20 minute ride to the north of I-285 on GA400/US19.  In the past we 
have had visitors from as far away as Chattanooga, TN.
When?  We are considering two dates: Saturday May 20th and Saturday 
June 3rd.  Meeting time would be 5pm.

Hi David,
I couldn't harvest your site-protected email address, and thus the
on-group answer to your question.  Yes, an Atlanta get-together sounds
great!  The earlier May 20 date would work best for me.  If you'd be
interested in having an SC/TO there to see, I think I could break mine
down and get it in my motorcycle's luggage.  ;<)
I must already have your email address somewhere, but ... where?  Drop
me a note.
