I started using the inverted method of filling/stirring the Aeropress
and came up with a little "refinement"...I'm sure other users of this
method have found this, too, but I'm reporting it...
After I stir the coffee and water, I place the filter and
filter-holder in place. Instead of then turning the unit right-side
up to start the press, I press while the unit is still inverted. This
releases the column of air and brings the slurry close to the
top(bottom). Now, when I revert (re-invert?) it there is nary a drop
of water and the throw is much shorter...
