I made an Excel Spreadsheet from SM's offerings listing the coffee, the
cost/# and the cupping score. The highest cupped score in the current list
is 88.7 going to a $5.00/lb Columbian : **
*Colombia *
*Huila - San Jose de Isnos• *
If anyone wants a copy of the spreadsheet, email me OFFLIST and I'll zing a
copy your way.
I made the list yesterday (5/17) and today, two coffees are already missing
from the list.
Some quick stats -
STAT COST SCORE
HIGH $16.90 88.7 AVERAGE $5.81 85.9 MEDIAN $5.15 86.0 LOW $4.40 81.5
COUNT 70
Note that the costs and scores don't "line up" in the above summary. Of
course, strictly going by the lowest cost for highest scores isn't
everything, but it isn't a bad place to start, either:
*Sumatra* *$4.80* ** *Classic Mandheling•* *87*
*Papua New Guinea* *$4.90* ** *Kimel Plantation* *86.9*

*Rwanda* *$5.00* ** *Fair Trade Rusenyi*

Sorry for the funky cut'n'paste issues - that is why I didn't just plunk it
all in here (plus, it would be a large message, too.)
