I just received 5lb of this Costa Rica, and roasted 1lb last night in
a skillet. WOW - what a great cup this morning.
For the longest time my coffees have tasted flat, or just bad - and I
couldn't nail it. I have been seeking that chocolate nuance in last
year's Colombians, and haven't gotten them back. So I went to my
oldest orders, and have begun again with Costa Rica and Colombia
varieties (the pursuit continues).
And this morning's cup, from Costa Rica Dota Tarrazu - Conquistador,
taken FC+ last night, was all I have been wishing... My only regret
is I have last another variety here at work, and it's not this one...
:-(
