Morning to all, I was wondering if there are replacement burrs for the Bodum Antigua? I though that this had been mentioned before, but I was unable to locate a definitive answer. Thanks for the help, Arron "with the double r's" |
Arron,
I would suggest contacting Bodum for an answer. I've had wonderful
experience with them in the past. Here's their Contact Options page:http://tinyurl.com/s7gg3Jason

I think the Antigua uses the same burr set as the Solis 166. I was only = able to buy the top for my Solis. Phil |
I had both the Bodum Antigua and the Solis Maestro and the SMPlus. The burr= s on all three looked identical, and the Antigua and the Solis lower/ center burr unscrewed exactly the same and were interchangeable. The Solis upper burr has a groove and a plastic ring, a seal missing on the Antigua burr. Baratza will be happy to sell you burrs through Cafe West, I think. The set was $20.00, but the lower burr is very hard and will probabl= y outlast six of the upper rings. My friends will find out and let me know. They're in good homes now.- Cheers -RayO, aka Opa! -- "When the theme hits the bass, I dance the Jig!" - -Virgil Fox at the Might= y Wichita WurliTzer- 1976 |
