To Jason Montgomery's 'couple of questions' - It is generally advised to let roasters cool between batches to assure they don't overheat during a batch... overheating frys the equipment, if not immediately then eventually. I just got a Technivorm Brewer. I would advise getting the models with a caraf -- the one they use will keep coffee hot for hours without the 'cooking' that ruins coffee on a heated platform. BTW the Technivorm Brewer is wonderful and has the advantage that you can start brewing and just leave it (take a shower... walk the dog... whatever...) and return to an excellent pot of coffee. |
