What a day! First, I get a really good deal on a Sylvia, my first non-lever espresso machine. (My La Pavoni Europiccola is hard to use as a newbie, I'm hoping to come back to it after learning from Miss Sylvia) Then I find an absolute steal on a Chemex. (Actually, 5 Chemex's: I'm way too impulsive today). Tried the Chemex just now and I like it. I think I'll try some side by sides with other methods to see if I can detect a difference. The cup was very clean. It would be interesting to compare it to a TV with paper cone. That will tide me over while my mouth waters for Miss Silvia.. -- Steven Hay hay.steve -AT- gmail.com Barry Paradox: Consider k to be the greatest element of the set of natural numbers whose description require maximum of 50 words: "(k+1) is a natural number which requires more than 50 words to describe it." |
