Have you rotated the hopper to a position where you can adjust the
burrs? Also, make sure the hopper is on absolutely level and
securely. I panic every time I disassemble my SM+ for cleaning, and
then remember it will not work at all unless everything is properly
aligned.

Recently, the adjusting ring broke on my Maestro Plus grinder. =
This is the little plastic piece that allows you to adjust the grind. =
I contacted the Manufacturer and they kindly sent me a new one, no =
charge. I went about replacing the ring, =
taking the outer cover off of the grinder to expose it's innards. The =
ring snapped right on, no problem. So far, so good. =
But...... Now it won't work at all. It's as =

where something got disconnected. Can =
anyone help here? Thanks, Michael =
