Ray, I just bought a wall mount hand crank coffee grinder with a blue windmill on the bean container to decorate the remodeled kitchen. It will be placed on the wall next to the cabinet that holds the KitchenAid A-9 filled with the bean of the week, the Barista Aroma and a Bodum French Press. We are waiting for the grinder to arrive. It will be a decoration since there will not be enough room to turn the handle once it is mounted to the wall. Jim "Ice Bucket Roaster" De Hoog |
What a cruel end to an excellent wall mounted grinder - from excellent to decoration. I can only imagine the weeping at the Vintage Grinder Association Hall.... I suppose you could mount the KitchenAid, and then find a way to use the good grinder on another wall.... But your wall will look nice. Jim- I've thought about what I'd do if I ever found something like the old grinder. It would remind me of a tsunami flood of thoughts from when I made coffee without knowing anything about it. (So, What is new?) Thanks to Tom and the Sweet One for supporting this information flood! Cheers -RayO, aka Opa! Got Grinder(s)? |
