I wonder if the gasket that is available from Foodservicedirect would fit the C30. If it is similar in size/shape to a Cory gasket, it should. Otherwise, you are pretty well out of luck. Not to mention that if the gasket is hard (and from what I've seen, when they get hard, they are like stone), you won't get those pots apart with less than Herculean force. I surmise that they changed rubber formulations some time during the C30 lifetime (maybe more than once) as the gaskets do not age well on certain models. Mine is wonderfully soft and smooth for the age. Other pots I've come across (slightly older C30's I believe), the gaskets were like stone. It seems the C30A's with the chrome lid are the worst, and the black bakelite lid with the multiple ridges is almost as bad. The bakelite lid with the single step in it is the best (which is what mine is). This conclusion comes from a very small sampling group, so take it with a very large block of salt. Just beware before buying a
ny C30 without hands on ins!
