Someone gifted me with a pound of SM's Donkey decaf blend for
expresso. It sat in my stash for a year before I finally roasted
some to use in my AeroPress. I roasted to what I hoped was a FC,
however, after a day it looked pretty shiny. I left it rest for
about 5 days and today I ground it and was very pleasantly
surprised. It was good enough to drink as my 'main' cup (except I'd
miss the caffeine of course). This is a sweet blend and I'd not
hesitate to roast for gifts.

Hello all,
I will occasionally roast some decaf as gifts for a few people. I
have seen a few mention that they simply stick to the SM's decaf
blend. I looked into it and noticed that Tom markets it for espresso.
So who knows how it works for press pots and especially for drip?
Like I said, this is for gifts, so I'm looking for something simple
instead of sifting through decaff offerings. So if it works OK for
drips (aka my family and friends), I'd get some. Thanks for the
input!
