My approach to Anokhi coffee was the same as yours and I have let it 
rest, to date, for five days then brewed it with an Aeropress.  This is 
certainly different but I like it.  One other taster did not. Also, in 
my experience, 1st crack can be a vague, spun out event with other 
coffees as well. I aim for the end of that activity and hit "Cool" for 
the lighter roasts but continuing on for the first sound of 2nd crack 
for darker.  With the Behmor, for me, this means using the 1 lb button 
(plus whatever profile setting) for anything from 8-10 oz.  In my set up 
a full pound with an accurate scale will barely get into 1st crack even 
with all the additional seconds.  Bernard C. Gerrard
