Topic: Espresso flavor intensity (2 msgs / 37 lines)
1) From: John - wandering Texas
I agree completely. I used the 9 ounce setting this morning and made a
couple of cups - with creama! It even looks wonderful. My wife's first
comment was that it tasted a bit bitter to her pallet. By the time she was
a couple of sips into the cup she said that it tasted great! I used the
same HueHueTenango that she loves in the Cona. She agreed that she loved it
by the end of the cup - but I have a feeling the Cona is a LONG way from
retirement.

It can probably (possibly) (maybe) (you never know on this list!) be agreed
the flavor obtained from espresso brewing is more intense than other brewing
methods. It seems to me the acidity characteristics are increased more than
body. Or my taste buds detect a greater increase, which in effect is the
same thing from a taste point of view. Any thoughts?
