If you like old movies, check out "Woman of the Year" with Katherine Hepburn
and cringe at the kitchen scene at the end of the movie when she's
attempting to make coffee.
It's not a Cory with the glass rod but it was fun to  see this type of pot
featured way back then.
The end result shown in the movie could not happen based on the first
scene-- but Hollywood has never attempted to be accurate to little details.
