I met him on one of the many pen lists, where a few homeroasters hang out, and he's one who talked me into roasting my own coffee. We got to be good friends over the past few years, via email and telephone. I don't think this has really sunk in yet, though! you ladies are correct, Michael was one classy guy! we traded pens and antique watches back and forth; the month he spent with me in Oregon was simply wonderful. I used to tease him about "his ladies." He loved all of his ladies and I am proud to have been one.
