Topic: Desperate in Vallejo, John? (4 msgs / 80 lines)

Take a break and drive on Hwy. 12 through Napa
and Sonoma and up to Santa Rosa. Take the 101N
exit but stay to the right and exit onto Morgan
St. Take a left on 5th and proceed two blocks.
The shop ahead of you on the right (Aroma
Roasters) pulls some good espresso. After that,
you could drive all around the area sampling fine
wines...heck, you might never make it back to
Vallejo! Or you can call me at work
(707-837-7767 x195) and we can get together for a
cuppa in the late afternoon...and we'll roast you
some beans to get you through the remainder of
your stay. But I'm surprised that there isn't a
Peet's near Vallejo; that's as good as
store-bought coffee gets, IMO.
Cheers,
Paul Jolly

Paul,
Works for me! My sister and Bro-n-law are driving up this Friday from Laguna Hills and the four of us are headed for the Mustard Festival and the winery run. We will be staying in Sonoma (my sister is spoiled and likes the Sonoma Inn) but I can guarantee that we'll be in Santa Rosa a half dozen times. I'll make sure that we hit Aroma Roasters. If I have any control over the situation I'll give you a call and maybe we can share a cup or two (or four or five).

I was in Sonoma a month or so ago, and there was a small
coffee roaster/coffee shop close to the Sonoma Mission Inn.
About a block up the street from the Mission Inn's Big 3 Diner.
I didn't try their coffee (I usually bring my own homeroast
when I travel), but it might be worth a stop.

JKG,
Since I will be so close I'll have to take a look. My brother-in-law is also a coffee freak so while the women are spending money we generally suck up a bunch of coffee.
