I just replaced my kitchen/postal scale with an Escali. It's more accurate
than the one I had (or offered by Tom), accurate to 1g. I have a 10g weight
for my Tanita gem scale and checked the Escali, right on the money. Weight
display selectable in ounces to a tenth, pounds and ounces to a tenth, grams
or kilograms. I paid $38 inc. s/h. Got it on eBay. The seller has many
models. I went with the 13.2# blue and white model that uses 9v user
replaceable battery. If interested just do an eBay search for escali scale.
Bunch of them out there from 5# to 25# models...
