I'm repeating a response to a letter of mine about 100% rebate offer, which
was utterly pessimistic, doubtful and misrepresentative in the most
important fact stated in my initial letter (I will not name author of the
note). It was pointed out by me out that many of the items may not be of
interest, but three of them were related to coffee, (which the author chose
to disparage while leaving out completely the third one mentioned, and most
useful to me). It was a Hamilton-Beech 12 cup coffee maker with a number of
useful features. (Like a clock, programmability, removable basket for
'holding filter, grinds, and clean disposability', and a removable water
reservoir for ease in filling). Whatever the individual taste in filter
type, speed of brewing (this is notably slower than the Braun cone filter
Coffee Maker), which suits me fine. The initial cost of $99.99 was fully
returned, (after less than a 10 week wait), except for a $4.99 shipping
charge. Everything else was as promised. I haven't checked recently on it's

Hrmmm sounds like a scam to me. 40 bucks for a Brazil (their cheapest press
pot)??? Given my past experience getting back "rebates", I wouldn't hold my
breath waiting for these guys to send the cheque in the mail.
