Since our primary coming together is in the interest of roasting, and not just espresso, I think we need to focus on this particular aspect... A couple of mottos (motti ?)off the top of my head: Variacs are the spice of life... Say "Yes! " to cracks... Ask me about cracks... Two cracks are better than one... Now, I don't wanna hear from you amateur psychologists out there....My thinking is that the word "crack" is a highly charged word and almost no one outside our little coterie would associate it with coffee, at least until we bore them to death when they question us as to the meaning of the phrase(s) on the T-shirt.... This post is only meant to get the creative juices flowing from you guys...Any one of you can do better than this, I'm sure :-) Ciao, Angelo homeroast mailing listhttp://lists.sweetmarias.com/mailman/listinfo/homeroast |

Angelo,
This beginner agrees that something about cracks sounds like a neat twist.
Along these lines, how about:
Do you take it to second crack?
Or must you stop before ...

"Ask me about my second crack" I don't know, can't think of much else right now. Hey, I've only had my morning latte so far. There's still much blood in my caffeine system. Enjoy!
