I just received sort of an odd request from some friends who do serious hiking. They wanted to know if I kept any of my SM ziplock bags and could they have them as they are very sturdy and hold up well during long trips. Well, for some reason, I have kept every bag since I started roasting and am giving them to the hikers. Anyone else have lots of SM bags taking up space that they would like to send my way to pass on? -- John Nanci AlChemist at large Zen Roasting and Blending by Gestalthttp://www.dreamsandbones.net/blog/ |
John: I will be saving mine so let me know where to send. gin |
Gin, Don't you have it? I figured you did as you are sending the Cocoa back. BTW, how is that coming? Let me know if you need it or if you have it from a return address. Mike, thanks for pointing out Vicki's no, no to her and the rest of us. and thank for removing the url from the email. gosh I remember a real, reel, estate guy who has some problems too!! you could have done so off list, no? we all slip and fall once in a while doing what we think is the right thing, you knew better! ginny reeling you, baiting you? NO. simply a reminder. ---- miKe mcKoffee wrote: <Snip> |
Ginny, As usual your understanding is understandable. (I'll take the bait this time:-) Since Tom clearly states "Since we pay for the list, we do not allow outside commercial posts of any kind. This includes regular emails with commercial references, URLs, addresses or 800 numbers of products we offer or like products." It is of course obvious that a sig tag referencing something like real estate or mortgage acceleration programs is something competitive to Sweet Maria's business. And of course posting a link to a business like "Greenbeanery.xx" whose focus is green coffee bean sales, roasted coffee, coffee roasters, brewing equipment etc. and happens to also sell roasted coffee storage bags in volumes greater than Tom sells is quite acceptable if done in ignorance of Tom's policy. This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Sorry everyone. I just signed up for this today and had forgotten about it. Should be interesting... Mike |
Just for that Fox Paws, you'll need to order from Sweet Maria's, next time you want coffee of unbelievable character and aroma. Short term memory- been there since I disremember when.- ro On 7/26/06, Mike Denson wrote: <Snip> -- "When the theme hits the bass, I dance the Jig!" - -Virgil Fox at the Wichita WurliTzer |
