Break the rules and try this one at a vienna roast- it's delicious! Sure it
was a mistake, but an enjoyable one- I really was trying to get the Full
city roast that our mentor recomends so highly. In fact I don't think I've
ever roasted a CR to vienna/french before, now I'm ordering some more so I
can do it again!

I agree. I really enjoy La Minita at a Vienna roast too. Not to say I
don't like the brightness of a Full City, but I like both. Now I shoot
for the middle line and if I fall off the side I'm happy either way. I
do enjoy putting the Vienna CR through my Giotto and making Americanos
with it. Makes a great cup.

My favorite roast of La Minita is to stop it just when it gets a maple
smell. Just after the start of second crack.
Ive been enjoying El Legendario a little bit farther into second, but I
think I will try it a bit darker tonight. Now that I know I'm not the only
one whose nuts on this list.

OH! El Legendario as Full City (Full City is just before oil on the beans
right?) makes a damn fine shot. A little nutty and really sweet. And its
only 24 hrs old. I didn't have the patience to wait until tomorrow for my
first cup.
