Eureka! Following the wonderful suggestions and help from you guys, I =
got creama running out of my ears!  The single thing that seemed to make =
the difference was the water temperature. Using the single porta filter =
my temps on the first water only pulls were just above 180. Now after a =
few more water pulls it now achieves a fairly steady 195.
Then pulled a single shot of espresso and for the first time that deep =
reddish brown creama that you could almost spoon out. I'm going to =
discuss this with the vendor on Monday.
